A newly opened Japanese restaurant at the level one of the shopping mall, which took over part of the space formerly occupied by Cold Stone Creamery. For 12noon to 3pm daily, the restaurant only offered lunch sets due to the limited kitchen space. Kaisen Chirashi ($20++)10 kinds of chef selection of sashimi on En's Pink Sushi Rice
There was Ikura, Amabi, Hotate, Unagi, Anago, Hamachi, Maguro, Aburi Salmon, Salmon, Tamago Yaki topping the sushi rice.
The sushi rice was pinkish in colour, with a slightly savoury taste. It was created with a special mix of Japanese condiments. I would prefer the sushi rice in a more traditional way with a sweeter taste. The texture was not bad, easy on the mouth.
The salad was greens lightly dressed with soyu dressing, while the appetiser was salmon flakes in mayonnaise.
The soup was flavourful with tofu cubes, wakame, and a clam in it.
The meal ended with a scoop of rich creamy black sesame ice cream.Overall the food was not bad. Service was smooth. There was bag basket under the table for one to put bag in.
