I guess I had too high expectations but I was quite underwhelmed with the taste at Mr. Bean. Based on the other reviews I was expecting to be in for a yummy snack. At first I wanted to order a soy bean ice cream cone and a hot unsweetened soy milk to take away. After trying the ice cream though, I decided to skip the ice cream as it was very sweet and not my cup of tea. If you love sweet food though you should go for it, the texture is nice and velvety.The 'hot' soy milk was lukewarm at best but
The 'hot' soy milk was lukewarm at best but I couldn't be bothered to go back and ask for reheating it. The bean taste was a bit too strong for me but I guess there is no right or wrong - those who are into the flavour will enjoy it.
I will give Mr. Bean another chance and try their pan cakes next time.
