Not sure about the overpriced macarons. Nice flavours and variety but still not up to the standard of Darcis. Rather expensive too. But always fully stocked and very colourful - hence always enticing. Quality and taste still needs some tweaking.The teas are great! Great variety but once again, highly over-priced. Nice jars and tins and presentation. Pretty fresh and good quality tea leaves too. But more expensive than what we're used to for better quality. The teas can last a long time if you us
The teas are great! Great variety but once again, highly over-priced. Nice jars and tins and presentation. Pretty fresh and good quality tea leaves too. But more expensive than what we're used to for better quality. The teas can last a long time if you use the correct amount each brew.
We like the unique and varied tea mixes and the helpful and sort of knowledgeable staff.
Tea sets and breakfast here can be rather expensive and at times the place is rather crowded. The price of the tea sets and breakfast is not justified as it's nothing fantastic.
Can only recommend the tea, and best when there's a promotion. Promotion these days seem hard to come by! Their cakes are not bad. Who can go much wrong with cream, sugar and chocolate? Presentation of the cakes are really good but the taste isn't too fantastic. Maybe we'll stick with the teas only. The macarons are usually all available but the cakes can change and vary daily.
Nice "English" looking setting. Efficient staff. Nice place to chill. The shops is really colourful and lively looking due to the colours of the tins and jars and cakes and macarons. It's like a crayon box!
