I had the Kato Rice which is served with fried egg, cabbages, pork chop and curry chicken wings. This dish is essentially the Scissors Cut Currry Rice. The curry lacks a bit of flavour here; normal stalls would poured a gravy before pouring the curry sauce over the rice. The one here did not come with the extra gravy. This gave the rice a light curry flavour similar to the curry found in Curry Vegetables. The vegetables were nicely salted and just moist enough for my liking.

Roti Stim with Kaya was a warm, soft and fluffy bread served with butter and kaya; fit for the first meal of the day. The kaya tasted pretty decent with the right ratio of eggs and coconut, though it was sadly too watery and often leaked out from the bread, or it would really be decent. Just an extra note; the Roti Stim with Kaya in the order chit is being represented as the Kaya Roti in the menu.

The Ais Bor was one of the specialties offered here. This was one of the desserts fond in the hearts of Singaporeans; a simple concoction of ice and syrup. Sinpopo Brand’s rendition adds red beans and peanuts. While aesthetically pleasing, it was not really outstanding as it is lacking of syrup, tasting pretty bland and felt more like just a ball of ice instead.
