met a friend for lunch who adores this little Thailand golden mile complex. Nongkhai stall looks clean and place is tidy, the patrons are mainly Thai folks as well. We order mango salad, tom yum soup, sticky rice, plain white noodle and thai ice tea. The mango salad did not smell nice but the taste did it more justification, i think the mango quality is very important else it may a little too sour to consume. It does not use any oil as well. The tom yum soup is the not-so-spicy type but pretty costly at $11 per bowl, prawns were of decent size though. Like the fact that i do not hv to sieve out the lemon grass and leaves like how other stalls do it. This tom yum soup, you can scoop and drink without worrying the non-edible stuffs inside.
It went well with the white thai noodle also, something which i've not tried before.
