Was flipping through the newspaper when I saw that for today, Jack's place at Nex will be having a 1 for 1 promotion for its New Zeland steak executive lunch set, in celebration of its new opening at Nex.Quickly, we set off for Nex since it was quite near to our house. By the time we arrived at about 12.30pm, there was already a queue. We queued for nearly an hour before we got our seats. Quickly, we set off for Nex since it was quite near to our house. By the time we arrived at about 12.30pm, there was already a queue. We queued for nearly an hour before we got our seats. The area was not big and they placed many tables in the small area so it was very cramp. No privacy if you want to chit chat cos the next table is just about 25cm away, unless you go those seats away from the window area.
Although crowded, we were served our soup promptly but have to wait for a while before our main dish was served. The beef was slightly overcooked, perhaps due to the overwhelming response and crowd. But then it was their opening day, so I can understand. The dessert was not bad. Maybe can give this outlet another try.
