i went to try out on of the more popular carrot cake stall in toa payoh with my husband. Indeed it was really popular, there was quite a long queue in front of us. There carrot cake was indeed unique, it was served in one piece unlike others stall where you can identify bits of the carrot cake. When they fried it this way, you can taste the crispiness of the outer coating and the softness of the carrot cake bits. There carrot cake was indeed unique, it was served in one piece unlike others stall where you can identify bits of the carrot cake. When they fried it this way, you can taste the crispiness of the outer coating and the softness of the carrot cake bits. It was really very fragrant and tasty. some carrot cake you eat outside is a little salty, but theirs is just right, we pretty much enjoyed it. Another thing was that it was not too oily which makes it less fattening. A nice breakfast for my husband and me.
