After my last visit to this outlet, I have recently won a $10 voucher from its facebook contest. Today I have visited the outlet again to redeem the voucher. After my last visit to this outlet, I have recently won a $10 voucher from its facebook contest. Today I have visited the outlet again to redeem the voucher. I decide to try other items whish I have not tried before.
Tempura ($3.50)At first look, it looks like over deep fried fish cakes. The tempura tastes dried up and too tough. Not the soft and chewy kind which I have tasted before in Taiwan.
Crispy Spicy Chicken Bites Set ($5.30)It is served with a peach tea. The chicken is quite crispy, but also very spicy and salty to me. The chicken has a kind of tough texture, a sign of frozen meat.
Fried Mushroom ($3.20)The mushroom is rather soft and not crispy at all. I tastes more of batter than mushroom. Barely can find any mushroom in it. And there is too much seasoning in it that overpowered the mushroom's taste.
Overall I am a bit disappointed in the choices I have made today. Better stick to its well known chicken cutlet.
