My beverage was the nutmeg lime and it was tasty yet refreshing. Had the Penang Rojak as my appetizer. Very similar in terms of ingredients and taste but the standard is close to any good Rojak you can find in Singapore. The Rojak paste was thick and sweet and filled with lots of nuts. The penang Kway teow was average while the Nasi goreng kampong was fragrant and above average. Both has room for improvement jn terms of taste. The herbal duck mee sua was slightly better.

The mee sua texture was different and the soup was thick and strong and yummy.

The best I had for the day was the Assam laksa and the prawn mee. The laksa taste was not like any other Assam laksa out there. It has mint leaves and fish meat and other ingredients to neutralize the sour taste. Good for those who cannot take sour too well. Overall it was deliciously different.

Special mention goes to their prawn mee. It was much better than majority of the prawn mee you get out there. You have to try it to believe it.

Lastly I had chendol and almond paste with tang yuan. The chendol was comparable with the ones in Penang and Melaka. The almond paste texture was smooth. For those who do not fancy almond because of the strong taste this will be suitable for you.

Overall it was a good experience and I would recommend this place to all Penang food lovers.
