Pontian Wantan Mee is one dish that I would never missed when I'm at Orchard area and just want to have a light meal instead of eating at a restaurant. Pontian Wantan Mee have earned great reputation and have since opened up many stalls throughout the island. With the portion just nice for me, eating pontian noodle is very enjoyable. Pontian Wantan Mee have earned great reputation and have since opened up many stalls throughout the island. With the portion just nice for me, eating pontian noodle is very enjoyable. Noodle is springy and consumers have the choice to choose what kind of sauce we want. Chili sauce, Tomato sauce or Black sauce. I prefer mine to be black sauce with chili. Tasty but not too salty. They use mostly lean meat for the char siew and so the char siew has a rough texture. The deep fried wantan is crispy and delicious when dipped in the mayonnaise sauce. Love how they also have the soup wantan. Nice.
