I've eaten Old Town's rendang chicken rice several times but today's chicken rice was disappointing. To be fair, I was there at night, so maybe that's what that caused it to not be as good as usual. The chicken was pretty dry unlike the usual juicy and tender chicken Old Town serves. They gave a generous amount of rendang sauce but the sauce itself was pretty dry. I was pretty disappointed but I still recommend it because it does not taste so bad on normal days and timing. It is pretty hard to find good rendang chicken rice in Singapore and I consider Old Town's rendang chicken rice one of the best in Singapore. Do give it a try!
