Service
The waiters and waiteresses will be prowling at the edge of their shop - staring right into your eyes and assuming you will be eating there by shouting the number of pax - "5 ah? makan?"
Once you're seated, menu will be placed on your table and you are given 1 minute to decide (which can be QUITE annoying especially when you're indecisive). The workers here are very fast & furious.
Your food & drinks will be served within 3 minutes and you have to pay straight away - so prepare your change.
It's best if you pay your own cause when you pay for your friends, they will reluctant to give a change for 5 pax!
Suggested days
It's often packed with tertiary students, young adults and families on a weekend. But in the weekdays, the crowd will be mostly working adults during peak hours like lunch & dinner. If you are uncomfortable to share your table with some strangers, I guess you don't come here during peak hours.
Prices $$
A bowl of noodles starts form $3.
Drinks are about $1.20 each.
Side dishes like siew mai starts from $3.
Rating
I would give this 2.5/5.
Despite it being "unhygienic", its reasonable and filling. Besides, to avoid the pigeons and flies, you can visit an air-con room in level 2.
Other varieties
Tahu Goreng
Otah
Fried Fish Soup
Laksa
Minced Chicken Noodle
Lor Mee
