Anyway when one passes by this stall, it is difficult to not catch whiffs of coffee breads cooking in the background! It tempts one to buy one immediately and savour it while it is hot out of the oven. I bought the original flavour one ($1.50) and it was still warm. The bread is a bit crumbly with a bit of a chewy, somewhat fluffy and yet dense texture. The bun does not have a very strong coffee taste, it is just right, not too overwhelming. I like that at the centre of the bread there is this layer of butter-like filling which adds flavour to the bun. It’s a good combination and one of my all-time snacks.
