Decided to try out Sho Teppan for dinner after reading some of the reviews and was there at about 7.20pm on a Friday night.There was a queue outside the restaurant as it was peak hour, but waiting time is bearable. A staff is also positioned inside the counter to help if you need any assistance with the cooking. Due to stoves, the seats are paced and is a little hard to share..
I order a Salmon Yaki Udon set for myself and the set comes with a salad and miso soup.
The salad is very nice! The vegetables are fresh and the sauce is refreshing and appetizing.
My Salmon Udon before it was cooked. Rather generous amount of Salmon.
After it was cooked.. I would say it's quite nice and you would feel a small sense of accomplishment if you are like me, who doesnt cook. Downside is you will smell when you leave the restaurant from all the smoke.Also need to take extra note to turn down the heat when you want to pour the egg in as it gets burnt rather quickly. Also leave it at low heat when your food is cooked and you want to start eating..
Dont mind coming back to try the soup base set meals next time!
