After a busy work week, weekends are almost a relieve and more than welcome to me and everyone I’m sure
I arrange an after work meet up with my pal Janice to just catch up and chill out.
Even though there was a slight queue and slight waiting time, we decided to queue for the ramen especially when I heard about this and have yet to try.
What better time than now right?
It was around 8pm plus when we went in, ordered and got a seat.
What’s nice about the place is that they have a jug of ice water placed on every table for their customers
I really think it’s a nice gesture on their part, being thoughtful for their customers and minus away the period where customers have to wait while they have to serve water especially whereby busy meal timings!
Both of us ordered their specialty ramen, Tokusen Toroniku Ramen in Shoyu Flavour.
They have other flavours too like salt and miso.
What’s a pity is that the price didn’t include an egg so we added in $1.50 for it, lucky both us sharing so half each..if not I don’t think I would pay the amount for just myself!
It was my first time eating the Simmered pork cheeks (jowl) meat!
My verdict for it was that it’s slightly salty but still acceptable, very tender and suitable for people who like to eat fatty meat.
Their ramen’s not too bad but I find the soup base given a tad too little, it’s my first time almost able to finish the ramen soup!
Overall, I’ll still recommend this place if you’re looking to try a new Ramen joint and I’ll be back to try other dishes they have
