Very randomly we didn't know what to have, and we walked in to Swensens again.The whole atmosphere at this outlet was so wrong. Services were below average and we felt we were eating at some coffee shop. There were a line of people waiting to be seated, then there's this table for six right at the entrance and some tables at the back not cleared. A lot of people queuing were so puzzled why the staffs just kept us waiting and did nothing to those tables. It took them 10 minutes to finally took ac
The whole atmosphere at this outlet was so wrong. Services were below average and we felt we were eating at some coffee shop. There were a line of people waiting to be seated, then there's this table for six right at the entrance and some tables at the back not cleared. A lot of people queuing were so puzzled why the staffs just kept us waiting and did nothing to those tables. It took them 10 minutes to finally took action and get us seated and it was not a case of under manpower, they had sufficient manpower. After we were seated, there's a lot of buzzing going on. Then, while waiting for our food to be served I was watching one of the waitress clearing the table beside us. She was wiping the table without using a tray, she just swept the residue on the floor. The floor was so filthy, with foot marks and trace of food. At the background there's soft music playing but apparently the disc had some fault and it kept on repeating the same old chorus.I would put everything a side because the food here is worth a visit.
Hawaiian PizzaThe pizza here is much better than pizza hut! Not only it looks more appealing but also it is much tasty.
Mac & CheeseThe Mac & Cheese is not that cheesy which is good and I like the creamy like soup in it.
Fish & ChipsAt Swensens, Fish & Chips will never go wrong. I like the fish which is not to overly batter and the fries is to die for. The coleslaw here is unique, there's pineapple added on top of it which further enhance the taste of the coleslaw.
It looks like we didn't eat anything for ages
We asked for bill and we waited for 10 minutes to get our change back with different staffs doing the transaction. The supervisor handed us the bill, took the money and put it at the cashier and leave it there for another staff to hand the change when the cashier is done billing other tables. We were like did the supervisor forget about the change? And I had to ask the waitress for my change. Somehow we felt very insecure with how they handled the money or I would say on the whole the transaction. Imagine you are paying by card and somehow by accident you took the wrong card which isn't yours. They should have the same staff to handle the whole transaction so as to prevent misunderstanding. 張貼
