I have fond memories of eating shui kueh from this particular stall in those good old days when they were at the already demolished old Tiong Bahru Food Centre. I have fond memories of eating shui kueh from this particular stall in those good old days when they were at the already demolished old Tiong Bahru Food Centre. There was always a queue, be it a long or a short one in any part of the day. Those were their glorious days as well.

The shui kueh still tasted very much the same but long gone is the forever queue. It gotten me to wonder where did the queue go to. The kuehs were nicely steamed to give it the soft texture. The preserved radish (chai po) were not as fragrant as the other famous name in shui kuey that has chain of outlets island wide. Apparently, their chilli was not as nice, too. It gotten me to wonder a little perhaps there is where the queue has gone to.

All in all, it was still an enjoyment to eat here once more. The familiar taste is still so comforting.
