A contemporary yet classic eatery which was specializing in Heng Hwa cuisines, Putien Restaurant offered a simple indulgence and heart-warming comfort food for their patrons. Apparently looked alike simple dried thin noodles, it was the must-ordered dish ever. Ingredients were generously given, peanuts on top gave extra crunchiness throughout the end. Texture of Mee Sua was soft and taste like Meehoon, we enjoyed the moist and stirred mixture. Price at $15.90 for medium portion, it can be served up to four persons.
Rich and starchy gravy, tofu was silky slippery. Freshly made daily, the plate was protein-rich and healthier meal. The dish looked plainly with beans and assorted veggies, in fact it was flavourful. Reasonably price at $9.90, the portion was not too big but sufficient.
Deep fried until maximum crispiness, the flesh inside surprisingly remained moist and firm. Served along with homemade dipping sauce, it was sweet tangy. Exactly like home-cooked fried Mackerel, it was delicious but it wasn’t memorable. Price was $4.90 per piece, judge-able value for money.
Quite an attractive dish, the light and crusty layer was awesome. Smooth Yam paste that enclosed duck meat in between, softness and springiness was just right. Mouth-watering in big cubes did a good job to satisfy my taste buds, matched with the savoury darkening sauce too. Price at $15.90, it can be cut into eight pieces. I would say it was a refreshing concept for family gathering or business meeting, always a good choice to dine here.
