Pu Tien is always a safe choice if you are craving for good quality Chinese food. Their comprehensive menu always giving you a hard to choose what to order! Too much good food yet too little stomach space. This time round, we ordered the Mini shrimp with seaweed ($6.90) as appetizer. It's slightly sour, very appetizing, and the mini shrimps give the soggy seaweed a good texture. Good job! Braised pumpkin with shrimp ($8.90) is my favourite. The pumpkin is simmered till very soft, yet maintaining its natural sweetness very well.
Braised BC chinese cabbage ($16.90) is unexpectedly huge in portion. The waitress should have reminded us about the portion of the dish! The Chinese cabbage is stewed till soft in texture, the broth is rich in flavour, with the sweetness from the vegetables, as well as shrimps and dried scallops. Putien oyster omelet ($16.90) is a must-try dish. The oysters are chopped coarsely, and deep-fried with omelet, giving it an overwhelmed crispiness! Thumbs up!
Fried hingwa beehoon ($7.90) is pretty good too, with lots of ingredients inside inclusive prawns, clams and heaps of vegetables.
If you are a Chilli fans, remember to try their homemade chilli paste, you will definitely fall in love with it!
