We went to The Lighthouse during the Singapore Restaurant Week (19 - 25 March 2012), where the restaurant offers a 3-courses lunch for $40++. The menu doesn't provide options though. However, the view from the restaurant is magnificent. Appetizer is the Smoked tuna loin. The cold plate is served with black olives, ratte potatoes and sicilian pistachio salad. Appetizer is the Smoked tuna loin. The cold plate is served with black olives, ratte potatoes and sicilian pistachio salad. It tastes Ok, all the ingredients blend in pretty harmony together.
The main course is the Fusilli pasta. The spiral pasta is cooked with pork belly, home dried cherry tomato sauce and topped with fresh ligurian basil. The sauce is deliciously tasty, but I reckon the meat is too little as compared to the pasta portion, making the dish too plain.
As for dessert, we had the Yogurt and orange blossom panna cotta. It is very refreshing! Served with the citrus compote, this dessert is my favourite dish of the meal.
