To patrons those who appreciate pig’s innards, Kway Chap is something scrumptious delight among hawker food. Past days, the purpose of this dish was to minimize the wastage as every part of pig can be eat deliciously if soaking into braising broth. Hidden in a humble hawker centre, this stall was actually quite famous at Toa Payoh Area. In fact, I was not really fancy about the dish and only accepted Pork Intestine at most. My plate came with assorted ingredients such as pork belly, fish cake, tau pok, braised egg and of course intestine. Pieces of Kway Teow absorbed fully from delectable gravy, everything was in softly smooth texture. Steaming hot bowl was comforting, certainly addictive treat without any greasiness. $3.80 per set, the price was pretty affordable for my succulent lunch.
