Met up with a friend who loves sambal stingray and we settled on this stall which we patronized a few times before. We ordered a large sambal stingray, a sambal fried rice, and xin zhou mi fen (新洲米粉).The sambal stingray cost $14. I won't say it's expensive, but it isn't cheap either. The stingray is fresh and juicy and there is a generous spread of sambal all over the stingray. However, I feel that the sambal is a little too spicy for me, but the great flavour of the sambal makes me want to keep

However, I feel that the sambal is a little too spicy for me, but the great flavour of the sambal makes me want to keep eating even though I'm constantly drinking water. I also like to dip this lime chilli sauce that comes with the fish for the extra flavour. I'm not sure what is inside, but it tastes sweet and sour.
The stall also cooks up a lot of other dishes like a zi char stall, which includes xin zhou mi fen and sambal fried rice which cost $5 each. Xin zhou mi fen is rather dry and the taste was just ok, nothing fantastic. The sambal fried rice is too spicy for me, and so I just tried a mouthful and avoided it.In conclusion, this is a sambal stingray that is worth trying, and this stall offers the best sambal stingray in this area. The items in the menu are also higher than average, but this stall is still worth going to occasionally.
