I am currently addicted to milk bread. Singapore seems to be the only place that sells it! and other than Bonjour and Gardenia, I don't know anyone else who makes milk bread.I love the fragrance of milk bread. You can smell the creaminess. And it's been a childhood love of mine. Been eating it since I can remember, until I moved overseas and never saw it again. But this week, i stumbled upon it at the hawker centre! It must be full of sugar, I realise, but oh it tastes so good! This loaf is made

It must be full of sugar, I realise, but oh it tastes so good! This loaf is made to my childhood style - small, thick slices. It's more expensive than other milk breads - 200grams cost $2.40! Bonjour and Gardenia cost only about $2 for 400grams!
The slices are very small and each slice is only about 3/4 the size of one slice of Gardenia or Bonjour milk bread. But it is cut very thick. And it is very dense so it's great to chew on! It's very sweet so I don't usually put anything on it. When you toast it, it tastes great too! But I love it the way it is.
The bread gets sold out usually by mid day. So there must be others who share my love for this milk bread! The service is quick and friendly. Highly recommended bread! The bread maker also sells buns. I wonder if they'll be milk buns or just plain hot dog buns? It's not made at this stall but they've recently decided to carry this bread. Lucky me!
