My family like to eat Swensens's ice cream so whenever we pass by any Swensen,we could even just go in to buy us each a cone.Ordered 2 kg of chocolate swirl ice cream cake at $80 from Swensen Tampines outlet .The chocolate cake is as usual very delicious from the thick chocolate ice cream but the only setback is the difference between home delivery and self collections.They will only explain to you the extra charges for delivery but they don't tell you there is a difference in the packaging too.

When i went to self collect on the 8th June at 5pm,i was told to consume the cake within 2-3 hours or else they will melt.I then ask them for the dry ice but they told me such packaging is only for delivery.
So next time when i need to order Swensen's ice cream again, i will have to order home delivery as well as make sure timing is close to the time to consume least it will melt.
