It was just a simple looking bowl of teochew beef kway teow. Yet, the fragrance that came forth from the soup was so irresistible! The soup seldom disappoints in the taste area too. You could taste the richness of the beef broth, with very, very mild chinese herbs (?? I think so...). The medium size beef balls were chewy with texture. You could taste the minced beef with each bite, unlike those mass-produced "more flour than beef" beef balls. Together with thin slices of beef, kway teow and a dash of salted vegetables - a formidable lunch was formed. YUMMY!!!
