I could smell the aroma of the piping hot soup as soon as my colleague walked towards the table. True to its advertising copy (how many times have we been duped by flashy wordings?), the bowl was chock full of healthy goodies including carrots, slices of fried beancurd, assorted mushroom, chunks of tender chicken thigh meat, lotus root and cabbage aplenty. The soup, made with miso paste, stock and soya milk, was rich and creamy enough to be satisfying but not cloying.

I do have a gripe about the bun though. I got a wholewheat roll studded with dried oats. I know the bun is random, but something more complementary would have been appreciated. (:

The Soup Spoon has always been the go-to place for when I need comfort food with their good variety of healthy soups in generous portions and at great prices. Can't wait to see which flavours make it to March's Chef Specials!
