This was my last meal in Singapore with my pal before bidding her good bye.FoodI am always impressed by the quality and goodness of the food from Changi Airport's restaurant. Having the thought that they are located in our world class Airport, a good meal will leave and give tourists a good impression on Singapore's Food. But, I'm wrong. Cripsy Fried Fish, S$9.50, comes with 2 choices of side dishes, onion rings and mashed potatoes. Fish was over-cooked, crust tastes closed to the burnt smell. E

I am always impressed by the quality and goodness of the food from Changi Airport's restaurant. Having the thought that they are located in our world class Airport, a good meal will leave and give tourists a good impression on Singapore's Food. But, I'm wrong.
Cripsy Fried Fish, S$9.50, comes with 2 choices of side dishes, onion rings and mashed potatoes. Fish was over-cooked, crust tastes closed to the burnt smell. Even having lemon squeezed all over on the piece of fish, it still tastes as bad.
Prime Ribeye Extra Cut, S$18.90, comes 2 sides as well. We ordered the wellness of the beef as medium rare with 2 red sticks indicating the wellness. We expected some blood from the piece of Ribeye but there were none. My friend was rather disappointed with this! However, I benefited from this as it was medium well done and i enjoy every bite of the beef.. It was juicy and tender, the mushroom sauce had enhanced the taste!
Another Prime Ribeye Extra Cut but with potato salad and fries. Wellness of the rib eye is also an issue here.
Dinner Burger, S$8.90, comes with french fries. A choice of the type of fish was chosen. T
I had the Hickory BBQ Chicken, S$8.90 with Corn on the Cob and Coleslaw as my sides. Chicken portion was rather miserable I felt and sweet corn was too watery. However, what surprised me was that their coleslaw are crunchy and good!
Out of so many choices of drinks, my friend and I had chosen the Cranberry Raspberry Snapple. Light and sour in taste.
Loves the little surprises and facts underneath the Snapple cap bottle, always.
ServiceFood and bill waiting time is rather long and not suitable for someone who is rushing off for flights.
Ambiance
As we are dinning about 4.30pm, the restaurant still have ample of seating around. Ambiance is rather good as we are siding near the walkways of the entrance. We get some air conditioned from the open space.
Price
Aston has offered a value for money for a western cuisine. This is the total amount for 5 pax meal as dinner!
Recommendation / TipsAvoid peak hours if you do not want to get caught in the queue.
