Got to know that Soup restaurant doesn't just serve rice dishes, they have fried mee sua and pig trotter beehoon as well. My friend told me their mee sua is good so I decided to give it a try.Penang fried mee sua $9.90++The portion is quite generous for a 'small' dish. The mee sua comes with chunky chicken meat, bits of chopped prawns, mushrooms and lotsa tau geh. Steamed Omega egg $6.90++This was listed as one of their signatures. The egg was silky smooth and slipped into my throat without using any energy to swallow...nice!
Hand chopped minced pork w/ salted egg yolk $8.90++As the minced pork is chopped by hand and not using a machine, the texture of the steam minced pork is ultra tender and juicy. There are bits of chestnut inside giving it a nice bite. This is one of the best 手打咸蛋肉饼 in town!
The outlet at Nex seems to have a more extensive menu as compared to Compass Point one. I shall explore more unique dishes next time.張貼
