This cafe is located at the basement of Singapore Management University (SMU), just a 5 minutes walk away from Bras Basah Mrt and a 10 minutes walk away from Plaza Singapura. When we stepped into the cafe, I was quite surprised to find that it was very spacious. I thought it would be like those small little cosy cafes as seen in the pictures online. We ordered one item from the all-day breakfast list and another item from their mains. The Sir Bennie Royale consist of poached eggs and smoked salmon served on top of toasted English muffins drenched in hollandaise sauce. It is served with a side potato salad and mesclun salad. The Lemon Thyme chicken consist of roasted chicken thigh served with russet mash, mesclun salad and potato salad. Overall, this cafe is a cosy place to hang out in town and they serve good food at very affordable prices!
