Think Fast Food is junk food? Think again. This phrase is painted on the wall of the new concept fast food restaurant, VeganBurg at Jalan Eunos. Yes they are selling vegetarian burgers, buns made from wholemeal organic grains and patties that are free of gluten and genetically modified organism.I ordered the Cracked Pepper Mayo meal (which contains Omega 3, Omega 6, Zinc) while my partner ordered the Smoky BBQ meal (which contains Beta-Carotene). I ordered the Cracked Pepper Mayo meal (which contains Omega 3, Omega 6, Zinc) while my partner ordered the Smoky BBQ meal (which contains Beta-Carotene). The meal also included fries and juice. Surprisingly, the burgers tasted very yummy. It was way beyond my expectation for a vegetarian burger. The cracked pepper mayo patty had a nice soya flavour while the smoky BBQ patty had a mushroomy flavour. Being a meat person, I was worried that I may not have the "filling" satisfaction but I was wrong. I felt full and satisfied after the meal.
There is another unique concept at VeganBurg. They used Mesh Tin to serve their burgers. I have taken a picture of it after finishing my burgers and removing the paper
