I was lucky to still be able to order their mee kia bak chor mee today (it's after 2 pm already and sometimes it gets sold out by then and I'll have to settle for mee pok or other noodles). The mee kia they use is also a bit different from the usual run-of-the-mill kind sold in other stalls. Theirs is the slightly thicker and flat version. The noodles are springy, as they first blanch the noodles in hot water followed by cold water. Flavouring of the noodles is tasty too, with a nice balance of the soya sauce, black vinegar and sambal chilli. Ingredients given are pretty generous too (fishball, meatball, fishcake, minced meat, braised mushrooms and pork liver) for $2.80

Well, the fact that I eat here once every week serves as a testament to my devotion to the bak chor mee...LOL
Even though there's always a queue here, service is still good with the stall owner giving a hearty thanks everytime you place an order.
