It's my second time here at Nam Nam Noodle Bar.. and when a colleague of mine suggested we had lunch here again, I was like "again???!!!". To be honest, I'm not much of a fan of lemongrass nor am I a fan of pho, so this place is pretty average to me.This time, I ordered their special $9.90 lunch set which comes with a bowl of Beef Pho and a plate of Spring Rolls. I felt that the spring rolls were a little tough and dried out. Looking over the counter, I see them making the spring rolls in batche
This time, I ordered their special $9.90 lunch set which comes with a bowl of Beef Pho and a plate of Spring Rolls. I felt that the spring rolls were a little tough and dried out. Looking over the counter, I see them making the spring rolls in batches so they probably leave it out for quite a while before serving it, which causes the rice paper to dry out.
We also decided to try out their desserts this time round and ordered a Vanilla Pudding with Palm Sugar Caramel ($3.90). Surprisingly, the palm sugar caramel was more on the sour side and paired up quite strangely with the sweet pudding. Definitely not your usual pudding with caramel, but quite refreshing.
