I'd read the reviews about the lack of manpower and long waits for tables and was thus pleasantly surprised to encounter neither of that when I visited a couple of weekends ago with some friends. The main attraction at Saveur is probably the duck confit, which was competently executed. However, I would urge other diners to try the other dishes too! We tried the sea bass, the angel hair pasta and citrus dessert, all of which were delicious, light (good for those who gripe that Western food is 'heavy'), nicely plated and served fairly quickly. It's easy to see why Saveur continues to draw in the crowds even after all these years!
