I was treated to my dream buffet venue on our monthly anniversary by my bf - the Straits Cafe. In the past, I had always envy those who were dining inside this nice-looking restaurant with equally yummy-looking food. Now, I have the chance to be one of the lucky fellas The choices were not that many. In fact, I had seen what was being offered in the restaurant in less than 5 minutes. However, the seafood was really fresh and I took a whole plate of my favourite salmon and the big, juicy prawns.

The award-winning nonya laksa was worth trying and I managed to try a little of everything in the buffet spread. My favourite would be dessert - durian puree. I took like more than 5 and it was really popular.
Though it almost burnt a hole in my bf's hole, it was definitely one of the best buffets in town!
