The name 'Tian Tian' has long been synonymous with chicken rice and I was finally able to drop by Maxwell Food Centre to try this super famous stall's signature dish.As usual, the lunchtime queue was crazy. I waited in line for nearly 30 minutes and ordered the chicken drumstick (less than $5). Verdict? I've definitely had better. Firstly, the chicken was a tad too soft for my liking. Firstly, the chicken was a tad too soft for my liking. Secondly, the gravy poured over the rice was a bit too salty. Also, the rice was not what I was used to. I do admit the soup and the chilli's great, but really, Tian Tian can't match up to my favourite chicken rice stall of all time, Hainanese Delicacy at Far East Plaza.
