Went to itacho with a group of friends during the happy hour, and we were able to enjoy great jap food at discounted prices. I got myself a small hot spring egg cold udon with sesame oil ($6.80), and it tasted GREAT! Mainly because of the unique taste and the springy noodles. Also got a number of ala carte sushi at 80 cents each! Those I can remember: mango avocado sushi roll, fish roe roll, spicy salmon roll. Also, if you buy 12 pieces of sushi, you get one free green tea or milk tea! Had a really full meal and I only spent about $13, which is very worth it for the great quality. My friends who didn't buy udon or rice spent under $10 and they ate a lot too! Great atmosphere too. There were 5 people in our party and we went into one of the private booths, where we sat for a few hours (till the last order). Had dinner with a group of friends, and we were in the private room. It's a nice cozy place to chill and chat. Downside is that it is very difficult to get the service staff's attention. Someone always had to go out to get whatever we need. We got 3 21-inch pizzas to share, with two toppings on each pizza. We had Pepperoni, Frutti di Mare, Hawaiana, Margherita, Pancetta, and Salmon. My favorites were the Frutti di Mare and Hawaiana, but the other toppings were all quite decent too. Serving time was also reasonable. My only gripe was that one of the pizzas was a bit charred at one part. But it was my first time at this place, so I would give it another chance (: We also had a few jugs of ice lemon tea to share. I had dinner at Thai Express with a group of 5 other friends. Food: I ordered a seafood noodle soup (the last item on the soup/noodle page, I can't remember it's name). Overall, it was above average. And I love that the prawns were shelled. It is moderately spicy for someone who takes spicy food. But I thought that it would have been more spicy, considering that there were three chillis on the menu. One of my friend ordered tomyam soup with rice, and she accidentally asked for the white-based tomyam soup. She was lucky, because the white-based tomyam soup was very nice! Very spicy!! (Though only two chillis on the menu). There was a hint of lime, and when you swallow the soup, you can feel the spice burning. Perfect for spicy-food lovers!Service: Service was pretty prompt, but I felt the waiters/waitresses were rather cold and unfriendly. They definitely could smile more. In addition, when we asked for our glasses of water to be refilled,there was once when the waiter only refilled one of the glasses, though evidently there were other glasses that were near empty. Another time, we had to make this request more than once. Environment: The environment is pretty good. It wasn't noisy, so it was a good place to sit down, have a meal, and chat.
