A pleasant place with lights brightly lited. However due to its kopitiam kinda setting, you can hear shoutings from the counter as the counter was usually crowded in the morning.I especially Love the toast where it is crispy toasted and with the generous amount of butter given. The feel ofree slimy rich buttery melting in my mouth is awesome!! The guy who make the drinks did a great job! The tea, coffee and especially the Milo, you know that they are not stingy in adding the milo powder.! The Chee cheong fun is another must try dish, they are served hot with sesame seeds and fried onions sprinkle on top of t he sweet sauce making the dish more flavoring, the chilli they gave are those chilli's from the Nasi Lemak.Like: Reasonable price with good food! 👍👍Dislike: nothing dislike about the food. Thunder tea rice, a traditional hakka dish. My mom used to prepare with my grandma during the chinese festive season ~~ A dish that bring back lotsa memories ~Bought a set that comes with a fried tau pok and basil leaf freid egg. What makes the dish special is the specially made soup that consists of different ingredient that bring out the fragrance and taste of the soup. The soup was quite diluted therefore you shoud get the stall assistant to add more paste in order to make the soup tastier. However, I would recommend those 1st timer to go slow with the soup (do not add paste) as they may not like the taste of the basil leaf. The tao pok was quite oily, hard and cold, the egg in other hand is also cold and oily. The thunder tea rice was good without the additional of the side dishes. Decided to try the shabu shabu as we passed by Marina Sq ~ The waitress state that we are not allow to wait in the restaurant for friends to come and that we are only allow to spent 1hr 40min in the restaurant. Wow ~~This shows that they must be expecting long queue ~~ There is a few soup base that you could choose from and we order the sukiyaki and the shabu shabu soup base (Max 2 soup base). There is a free flow of beef, pork and chicken shabu shabu slice and vegetables ~. However, the drinks and the cooked food were not included in the buffet price. The beef were not cut thinly every plate, i guess it depends on the person who cut. The chicken was scattered the moment it touched the boiling soup. First time to drop by here after it was moved from level 1. The whole place looks brighter, cleaner and there was a change in the menu. Decided to order the beef stew noodle as it looks tempting ~~ I was handed a round device and was told to wait to be called. In about less than 5min, the round device beep and started vibrating with red lights. The serving was huge!! The noodle was not as Q and taste abit soft. The stew however was great. Was recommended by a friend for a birthday celebration for my brother. The whole 2 level restaurant atmosphere was cozy and most of the waitress are actually korean ~(from the accent ) The spicy seafood soup looks very spicy when it was served. However, the spicy level was only mild when we tasted. The seafood served was all very fresh and the serving was huge. Walked into this orange low lit japanese food court. The place was not crowded as it is already 8pm, my dinner time I ordered a pork belly okonomiyaki ~The serving was big. you can see a generous serving of vegetables and pork belly in the okonomiyaki. The overall taste was great too. With the correct mixture of the teriyaki sauce and mayonaise cream it makes the okonomiyaki more tastier. Another dish that you should order is salmon skin. Been walking past here but did not have the chance to step into this shop. Today, i have decided to step in and give it a try ~The whole place is brightly lit and the environment is clean and cozy ~ We arebeing brought to a sofa seat. Decided to step into this restaurant for pasta since it had been a long time since we last had pasta.We order the mushroom salad as both of had a crazy crave for mushroom ~ The salad was tossed with quite an amount of vinegar which makes a great appetizer. The vegatables are freshly selected and the mushroom are nicely sauteed. *thumb up* Main course: Slipper lobster fettucine The slipper lobster was quite a disappointment. It does not taste that fresh as the texture of the meat was quite soggy. Nevertheless, the sauce was awesome! Dessert: Brownie ice cream The ice cream taste quite normal as the one we bought in NTUC shopping mall. The brownie was not well heated and it does not taste wet and chocatety. However, with the combination of the peanuts and the cereals, the overall taste of the dessert taste not as bad. Everytime I walk pass the stall I will always see a long queue. Therefore, I decided give it a try to this ever long queue stall. The queue was not long afterall and I manage to entertain myself by looking the at the process of the making of the taco balls. I can see a generous amount of ingredient put into the each taco ball ~~ *thumb up*I manage to get my taco balls in about 5mins. The taco ball was great! Came all the way down from my workplace for the renowned katsu for lunch ~~ I ordered one Jumbo Hire Katsu and shared it with my 2 other colleagues, and at the same time we order another 2 additional rice set (Consist of Rice, miso soup, salad) that cost $4.50 excl GST. The serving portion of the jumbo hire katsu was just nice for a sharing of 2 person. However, with the flee flow of the rice, salad and the miso soup, I find it reasonable for 3 person to share the katsu (240g). The katsu was cover with a thin layer of crispy batter which was surprisingly not as oily as what i had expected and the thick pork was juicy and tender without dryness or hardness. The miso soup was simply amazing. This was the 1st time i ever drank a miso soup with a generous amount of ingredients (radish, carrot, slice pork ..) with a thick broth ~ ~ The salad (cabbage) topped with sesame dressing and grind sesame was awesome. There is a "Wait to be seated" sign placed at the reception area, so we were waiting to be seated. We waited quite a while before we realise that it is a free seating system actually. Waitress and the manager was not very attentive.We order a california burger and 2 chicken chop meal. The other customer who came later than us were all served and we were only served 30min later after we had made our order. The beef patty of the california burger taste normal, nothing special that stands out from the other burger patty. The fries were of course better than the MacDonalds fries, but the BBQ sauce taste funny. Neither sweet nor sour as describe by the manager. It tasted more like an expired sauce. The long waiting of the food and the inattentive service from the waitress/manager makes an unpleasant dining experience. …查看更多

Stater, Bacon and mushroom gratin, was awesome! The combination of the baked cheese and the bacon made a great combination. Mushroom soup filled with finely chopped mushroom bits is a muz try item! However, the grilled chicken jumbo leg was quite disappointing. The chicken was over sprkinle with salt. Otherwise, with the creamy mushroom sauce, it would have taste great.
