Went Crystal Jade around 9pm and the place was packed with people. We had to wait 5 minutes for our turn. We were served with crunchy peanuts when we sit down. I haven't been to MEN-ICHI Japanese ramen so decided to go in and try as i have a cravings for japanese food also. I ordered Tenshinhan, which is steam rice topped with crab meat and omelette in thick gravy. It was a small portion, and it's only $4.80.It was quite nice.We also tried the ocha at $1. I went shopping at Vivo city so i drop by Pu tien for dinner. The place is inside Food Republic and quite small but we managed to find a seat quickly. We tried the Sweet Potato noodles at $6.90 and the fried rice. The sweet potato noodles is transparent in color and taste like hor fun. It comes with alot of seafood like prawns, clams, mushroom, vegetables with abit of gravy. It goes well with red chilli. There was no ice water served and i was told that we need to pay 30 cents for a glass of ice water. The fried rice was not served hot which we were dissapointed. I went to meet a friend up for chat so we were looking for a nice place with good music and ambience to sit down and catch up. We went in around 4pm and there was very few people. My friend ordered a teh si and i ordered a coconut float. The teh si there only cost $1.50 but it was alot creamier and smooth than the one served at coffee shop,The coconut float with ice cream was refreshing and perfect for a hot day, We also ordered 2 soft boiled eggs at $1.70. Ordered Canadian Pizza to celebrate christmas at home. There is a 1 for 1 pizza promotion. We called the hotline and we were told it takes around 1 hour for the pizza to arrive. We tried the Tandoori chicken and Turkey Turkey pizza. The regular pizza cost around $23.90 and we add a shepherd's pie. The pizza arrived hot and i like the turkey pizza as it has turkey ham and green n red pepper on top which makes the pizza tasty.The total order is $30 and was shared by 2-3 person. Spend a lazy afternoon at Ikea looking at furniture for the new year and having lunch at the restaurant at the same time. Although the restaurrant is huge with alot of tables and chair, it was still hard to find a seat. Managed to get a seat after 15 minutes, we had to order our food at the counter ourself. Ordered buffalo wings at 2 for $2.80(minimum order is 2 piece) and the tomato sauce pasta. Kid's meal with nuggets, fries and a soft drink is only $2.90. After paying, drinks is self service so we had to fill up our soft drinks at the counter. There was a choice of coca cola, ice lemon tea, sprite and fanta grapes so the variety is not bad.The coffee/tea is refillable and it is only 50 cents per cup.I like the buffalo wings and tomato pasta as the tomato sauce on the pasta was not watery and salty. Having a meal here was cheap and most of the things is self service. Had dinner at Pasta Mania. Flipped through the menu and ordered Mushroom baked rice as it looks tempting. I choose the cheapest pasta on the menu to try which is the Cheesy crumble pasta. The service here is self service as we have to queue and pay for our food at the counter first. We can choose from the kind of pasta we want. They have linguini, spaghetti, penne,etc. I ordered a meatball spaghetti from the kid's menu which cost only $7.90 and comes with a fruit juice and 2 piece of garlic bread. I was quite dissapointed with the variety of drinks in the kid's menu as we can only choose from 2 choice-either the orange juice or tropical juice. The baked rice is served hot, and the cheese on top of the baked rice is chewy and nice. There were a few types of mushroom inside the baked rice. It makes a perfect dinner. The kid's meal pasta comes with 3 meatballs and is not so salty which is healthy for kids. The service staff is friendly and attentive so i would come back again. Relax with friends over coffee at StarBucks after work. Since it's the christmas season, i get myself a Peppermint ice mocha with whipped cream. The service staff was friendly and smiled throughout the orders and i received my drink within 10 minutes. The coffee was smooth and tasted abit of peppermint and also the bitterness and richness of coffee. I always go Wendy's for their baked potato with sour cream(recommended). But i try their promotion set meal at $3.95 only today. Comes with one piece of fried chicken, a soft drink and regular fries. I chose the spicy chicken instead of original flavor. It was spicy to me although it tastes nice. I need to drink more soft drink as the chicken was too spicy. Was out shopping at Sun plaza and went in to try their egg tart. The tart skin was flaky on the outside and the egg custard was soft and smooth at the first bite. It also comes with chocolate egg tart flavor. It looks like burnt on top of the egg tart but actually it was not and the egg tart was not very sweet. …查看更多

Went to Pizza Memoirs after work. As it was my first time there, the place is not easy to find as it was not near mrt and need to take cab or bus from Tiong bahru or clarke quay.The place is quite relaxed and casual and it's a great place to chat with your friends as it shows live soccer match on a big screen. Besides pizza, it also sells fries at $4.90. The portion of the fries was quite huge and we couldn't finish it for 2 person. After looking through the menu, i decided to order the seafood pizza. It was quite cheap as it costs $15 and serves 2 to 4 person. We had to wait around 15 minutes for the pizza to be served. Took a day off to eat the Manhatten Fish Market set lunch promotion. I chose the Grilled Fish with garlic herb rice. This promotion set lunch cost $6.90 but after 10% service charge and GST, the bill add up to $8.70. Set lunch comes with a soup and a drink. The soup of the day is Clear seafood soup. It was a clear soup and has some prawns and clams inside the soup. The soup was tasty and i finished all. For the drinks, we can have a choice of Coca cola, root beer and ice lemon tea. I chose Root beer. The drink comes with quite a large cup for me to finish.The Grilled Fish with garlic herb rice arrived in about 8 minutes and there was some vegetable at the side like broccoli and carrot. I like the sambal chilli served at the side as it was hot and salty. The fish was firm but abit tasteless. With the sambal chilli sauce, it goes well with the fish. It was my first time dining at Fish Mart Sakuraya. Was curious to try out the food they offered inside. The dining concept was more casual. Besides selling food, they still sell other merchandise like lunch bag, small display and cups at the restaurant. I ordered a Chirashi Don. It comes with a few piece of raw tuna,salmon and cucumber and some fish roe. The price was cheaper compared to Sakae Sushi. The presentation is nice but the rice taste abit sour and tasted like more vinegar added to the rice. I do not like the taste of the rice. The salmon slices was fresh and firm. :)The KFC in Ngee Ann City just renovated and I like the bright cheery red chairs. Ordered a takeaway there. The Value meal is $6.10 and consists of a chicken burger, a chicken drumstick, a mashed potato and a cup of coke/soft drinks which is quite value for money. :)Went shopping with my brother at Marina Square so we went in for a quick lunch. The place was crowded at lunchtime but we managed to find a seat outside as they got indoor and outdoor dining. Previously i have went to their outlet at dhoby gaut and i like their free flow ice cream and drinks whereby we can take as many scoops of ice cream and drinks as much as we like. Their drinks counter also has alot variety like Ice peach tea, ice lemon tea and lime juice, coke, sprite,etc. Their hot drinks has coffee, Mocha, Teh tarik, Milo. The service staff will give us a cup and ice cream cup when we order the set meal and we can help ourselves to the drinks and ice cream counter. My brother ordered the Dory Fish rice with melted cheese and I got myself a Chicken Wing noodles. The food were served rather fast in less than 10 minutes because as soon as we finished a scoop pf ice cream, the food arrived. The Dory Fish rice was very cheesy and creamy because beside cheese, they also has mayonaise on top of the dory fish.
