My new favourite drink in Starbucks is the Salted Caramel Mocha Frappucino. Tasted better than the hot one. The salt is sprinkled on top of the drink and you literally can taste the salt.I prefer this outlet than the outlet at 2nd storey. It is more spacious, more sofa seats and a quieter ambience. Typically, I will order the Don Don Gozen but i can't finish it. Too much rice.Love the chilli padi on the salmon don. Not many japanese restaurants have the chilli padi.The soft shell crab with the light sauce was a good combination.Chawamushi is a must-have. My favourite steamboat restaurant since I hate getting all sticky and smelling bad like those at Bugis.You get to make your own sauce using sesame oil, chilli oil, spring onion, leek, vinegar, their signature soya sauce and more.I would say a wide range of ingredients especially seafood. The jumbo pork ball is a must to try.I would always pick bak kut teh as the soup base. They used to put a packet of the spices in each individual pot but not anymore. Don't be deceived by the pictures in the menu, the portion is really big. The eggs benedict wasn't very fantastic.The calamari was very chewy and I love the batter. It's a good hangout place for my friends and I. We always head there for supper. On friday and weekends nights, the place can be packed.They have the rare delicious ice-cream flavors like teh tarik. There's always a queue which I don't know why. There's only one counter so might have to wait for 10-15 minutes till it's your turn.The cafe isn't too big so there are limited seats.I always go for the peanut butter toast set which comes with 2 half-boiled eggs and a hot drink. A lot of students working there. So have to be patient with them. They have good manners, courteous and greet the customers.Food is just like the regular McDonald's. The restaurant is cozy although a little cramped because of the limited space.I always customise my pasta and staff are friendly to help. I don't eat the other carbonara pasta except for theirs. Went for their set lunch yesterday. Chose Bak Kut Teh as soup base, i love the peppery taste. Ordered their jumbo pork ball as ala carte, can't be missed. Had their individual set lunch A which consists of yong tau foo, enoki mushroom, spinach and marinated pork.
