This is really awesome stuff! At just $4+ you get a huge chicken leg, rice with generous serving of gravy, great chilli and curry vegetables! I always order their grilled chicken as it is their speciality as well as my favourite. I am always full after eating this as the chicken is huge and both the servings of rice and vegetables are generous. The vegetables are optional and sell out very quickly. I had this as a before lunch snack. It was really good! The pastry was thin and flaky and the filling was just the right amount of salty. The filling was also slightly moist and not too dry. However, I did not like the size of the tau sar piah as it was too small! Ate this for lunch and was very disappointed. Although the rice is brown in colour, it is actually quite tasteless. The rich was also low-quality rice that tasted starchy. The amount of duck given is very little, less than 2 tablespoons, but was soft and well-cooked. Serving of rice was quite generous but all in all, I do not suggest you try their duck rice. The Korean BBQ Chicken set comes with a bowl of rice, kimchi and soup. The kimchi was too sour for my liking and I ended up not finishing it. The rice was nice and chewy, and of the short-grain variety. I was given a generous serving of chicken which was slightly spicy. The serving of roasted duck meat is generous and the meat is tender and well-flavoured with the sauce. An egg is given instead of cucumber slices. The white rice served is generous but not the braised duck rice kind. I felt that the sauce given was too little and the rice was not well-cooked. I like the Italian B.M.T because it is more flavourful than the other options that Subway offers. Also, the meat is more chewy and has more fats. I ordered this sandwich with lettuce, tomatoes, onions and olives. This time, I also asked for double cheese, however it did not really make a difference to the taste. I like Starbuck's bagels because they are really worth $3.60 unlike the muffins and other pastries or cakes. I added a pot of cream cheese, because bagels taste best with cream cheese. For my drink, I chose my regular favourite, a tall Caramel Macchiato.The bagel was toasted but I felt that it was not warm enough. I like my bagels warm and toasty so the cream cheese will melt when I spread it on. Anyway, it was still a good breakfast and the caramel macchiato complemented the slightly salty cream cheese very well. If I have to say I don't like something, it would be the skin of the bagel. I ordered this for lunch one day and was surprised by the amount of bee hoon given for a $3.50 meal. I felt very bloated and full after finishing it. The bee hoon is the thin type, and very smooth. there were slices of fish, a bit of vegetables and some mushrooms in the soup. The serving of fish slices was not very generous, but adequate. I was looking for something that was not fried, not spicy and not savoury so I chose to fall back on the trusty fish soup. The fish soup from this stall is on the whole not bad, but I found the bee hoon a little too thick. It was more like chu mee fen than bee hoon really. I topped up the bill by 60cents and changed the fries to criss-cut fries. This was my first time trying the criss-cut fries and I love them! I find them more solid than normal fries. This is a clear broth, but its layered flavour hints at hours of stewing, unlike the MSG flavoured soups you get some places.
