I don't normally have a particular liking for udon, but the udon here is really good and I have been here multiple times. The first time I was here, I tried the niku udon. On subsequent visits, I ordered the kitsune udon.The udon is chewy and smooth, which I really like. The broth is flavourful without being salty. Really love the fruit tarts from this place! I can't remember the exact names of the tarts/cakes we ordered but mine had chocolate and banana, with a custard base. The banana and chocolate went well together and was not overly sweet, making it a perfect dessert. The fruits used in the tarts were fresh. Would definitely be back again! Went down to The Star Vista with a friend and was looking for somewhere to eat. Came across this place and decided to give it a try. I ordered the Beef Noodles while my friend ordered the Braised Pork Rice. We both added an appetizer of the day and a fruity tea drink set to our orders. The appetizer was mini sausages and some beancurd. The sausages were really hard and tasted like they had been kept in the fridge for a long time. The green milk tea we got was much too sweet. The beef noodle had an overpowering smell and the beef was not handled properly.Besides the food being dissatisfying, the service was not fantastic either. Was walking around Raflles Shopping Centre looking for something light for dinner and came across The Soup Spoon. Ordered the Simon & Garfunkel soup, which came with a generous amount of ingredients. Ordered the set meal and decided on the smoked salmon half sandwich and ice lemon teaLoved the soup, it was rich and came with an abundance of ingredients. The vegetables in the soup did not give the soup a raw smell or taste, which was a definite plus! Was walking around with a friend after sailing, looking for dinner and decided to try Nando's. Here's a picture of the interior.I ordered a drink called "Citrus..." (I can't recall the exact name, the one on the right of the photo below) I found the drink to be very refreshing.Since Nando's is famous for their peri-peri chicken, I decided to try it. I ordered it without the sides because I wasn't feeling that hungry. Walked around Takashimaya and decided to have lunch hereThe saba fish set came with a salad, soup and rice. As usual, I didn't touch the miso soup at all because it's just not my thing; I always find it too salty. The fish was fresh and nicely done. The meat was succulent and tender. Met up with a couple of friends at a friend's house and there wasn't much to eat nearby so we decided to give this place a try.Here are some pictures of the interior.We ordered the set meal for 2 and added another serving of rice since the 3 of us weren't that hungry.The set meal came with 3 dishes: Oyster Sauce Chicken Wings (middle portion only), Guo Tie and Fish You Tiao. The skin of the guo tie was too thick in my opinion, and it was lukewarm. The wings and fish you tiao were average but I like the chilli sauce that came with the you tiao.The service wasn't that good. Read a lot of great reviews about the place and have been wanting to try it so I went down with a friend on a Friday night. Thankfully we were early and managed to get seats without queueing (they don't take reservations).We started off with the French Onion Soup and although it was not traditionally done and not the most authentic, I liked it. Due to the all the reviews online, we decided to order the much raved about poulet roti. Given the great reviews of the poulet roti, we had high expectations for it. Sad to say, we were slightly disappointed as we found it to be average.We also ordered the mash potato and it was extremely creamy, which is exactly what I love about it. This Ambush outlet is located in the basement of Takashimaya.Ordered the rosti with chicken sausage. As can be seen from the photo, a generous portion of sausages was served. In comparison, the rosti was insufficient. You basically finish the rosti and there would still be sausages left. The sausages oozed with cheese when cut and goes well with the sausage.…查看更多

I can't remember the name of this dish. Ordered this because we saw that a lot of people were ordering it and figured it warranted a try. I like how it's spicy and sour, which makes it appetising. The place is supposedly famous for it's hokkien mee but I'm not a fan of it so I decided to try the char kway teow (without cockles since I dont't eat them). After ordering, I had to wait for 10-15 minutes for the char kway teow because they cook it in batches.I found the char kway teow a tad too oily, and the chilli wasn't spicy enough.
