Came here for dessert.It is quite a small shop. There are a total of 16 chairs. 8 outdoor and 8 indoor.Everything that was displayed had limited quantity. I decided to buy the Ginger Brulee Tart($4.10 after discount). Because I love ginger. Took one bite and I could taste the sweet custard and the spicy ginger. It tasted a little like gingerbread cookies. However, the ginger was very overpowering with it's spiciness. My tastebud could not really take it so I did not finish my tart. Not suitable for kids or for people with strong tastebud. It's a pity. If only they tone down the ginger, it would be better.My friend bought the Fuji- A light green tea mousse complimented with a lychee gelee insert and a soft green tea sponge base. The mousse was not the light and fluffy kind but more of the thick and kueh-like kind. The lychee from the jelly was quite mild. You could not taste the lychee unless you were looking for it. Quite a weird combination, lychee with green tea. However, I like the shape of it. Looks like Mount Fuji.The Ispahan- Layers of rose bavarian cream and raspberry mousse with a lychee gelee middle and lychee fruit. This mousse was lighter than the Fuji. The top layer is sweet while the bottom is acidic. Not a nice combination.Strawberry Shortcake- Lightly sweetened whipped cream and juicy fresh strawberry, sandwiched between layers of soft sponge cake. The cream really was not too sweet and the strawberries were acidic. It goes well together unlike the Ispahan. The sponge cake could be softer and lighter.To me, this was not a trip worth making.…查看更多

Came here to eat their waffles.My friend almost walk passby the shop withour realising it. Lucky I was there. I love the decor of the shop. Something like Alice in Wonderland feel. You can even play with the stufff toys there.The wall also shows what they are selling.So I went to the counter to order. Some of the desserts looked really tempting. However I was set on ordering the 'whoa'ffles already. I ordered the 'Whoa'ffles, Pandan Ice Cream Drizzled with Gula Melaka($8.90) and Vanilla Caramel Dream($3.20).The drink came first. It had hints of vanilla and slight caramel. But tasted like normal black tea.Finally the 'whoa'ffles came. It looks really nice. So picture worthy. The waffles were crispy and fluffy. The gula melaka was really delicious. Just the right amount of sweetness. Pandan ice cream had a slightly familar tasted. A little like the Lapis Sagu(9 layered kueh) from beganwan solo. Came to Lola's Cafe for brunch wth two of my friends. When we came, the place was packed so we had to queue. They have a machine on the spot for you to get your queue number and once there is a table, they will give you a call. They also would ask if you would not mind the sofa seat which is actually the one you can see in the picture. It looks okay but in front of the sofa seat is a few rows of table. It's a little awkward as you will be looking at other people when you look straight.Finally recieved a call and went back to the place. The waiter led us to an indoor seat but forgot to give us the menu so we took one ourself.I ordered the Mushroom Melt($10)- Brioche Bread, Swiss White Mushroom, Mozeralla Cheese Cream, Garden Salad, Balsamic Dressing. Took my first bite and could taste the yummy mushroom-y taste with the savoury chewy cheese and light creamy sauce. The bread was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Really delicious. Definitely a must to order if you love mushroom. However it can get a little overwhelming after more bites. The salad dressing was not to my liking. It was citrus-y and sweet. Not so nice. However my friend was okay with it. The only thing I like from the salad was the cherry tomatoes. We also ordered the Honey Paprika Crispy Wings($8)- Wings, Honey, Spices. True enough the skin was crispy and the meat was tender. You could taste the spiciness from the paprika and the sweetness from the honey. A nice combination.Asked for plain water and it came in this bottle with shot glass. Quite cool.Some of the tables if you look below, you can see that it looks something like the lower part of a sewing machine. You can even step on it and it will move.Some of their decor. Came here for dinner. 1 table is big enough to fit 6 people.I looked through the menu and could see that all the food was priced less than $10 except for some of the grilled meat. Also for $2.80 you can get free flow of drinks.After deciding what we wanted, we press the service button and waited. When a table presses the button, the LED sign will change to whatever table number that presses it.I ordered Potato Omelette($5.90)- Egg, Bacon, Potato and Corn. Shared it with my friend. Potato was cooked. Corn was sweet. Bacon was yummy. Not bad I guess.My main dish was the curry baked rice($5.90)- Rice, chicken, bell peppers baked with cheese and curry on top. Beware, this dish is spicy. 4 big bites and you will start to open your mouth. I like the chicken, it was crispy but a little overcooked. At the end we went to the counter to make out payment.…查看更多

Came here to celebrate my friends birthday. When we arrived, there was a long queue of people. Luckily we made a reservation. However, even the reservation side had a queue. But it was only a queue to pay money and get a stamp on your hand so that you can enter in. The first thing I went for was the tempura(battered, deep fried items)- Ebi, dango and a vegetable. It tasted okay,was kinda expecting more since I like tempura stuff.Tried the seafood pasta next. So so. But it is definitely not something for people with low tolerant of heat to take. It was very spicy. One strand and you could taste the spiciness. It something you can give a miss.Took the sashimi. The fish wasn't nice at all. The rest was okay. They also had cold prawns. The prawn shell were a little hard to peel for some. But still it tasted sweet and nice. The best thing served at the buffet I feel is this hotpot. I love the soup- sweet and slightly bitter? A nice taste. We even use it to cook some of our sashimi. The chawamushi- comes with crab meat and a ginko nut. The egg was a little saltier than what you normally get but still it was nice. For the rosti my friend said it taste somthing like the one at Marche. Quite nice. Chicken is good to try. Crispy, tasty and yummy.Sushi were available as well, however they were okay only.Now on to desserts!The best thing was their waffles! Thick, fluffly and yummy. They have a few sauce to go with it- jam, honey, chocolate and one other that I forgot. The waffle tasted best when drizzled with honey. The cake. Bleh. Definetly not worth trying. Same with the strawberry mousse. Also can't really taste any strawberry.Not sure what they are, but also something to avoid. One bite and I spat it out. Didn't really like it.The jelly are not bad. I took the grape one. It was nice. They also have ice cream. One of them was wasabi. The wasabi was quite mild and a little sweet for me.Not sure if I'll be back. My friend and I was around the area and decided to dine here. It was pretty awkward as the queue was at the next building. Hard to tell if they were queueing for seat at the shop. But since we were smart, we deduce that people would not line up at there for nothing and that it had to be the queue for I AM. The waiting time was not as long as we had expected and pretty soon it was our turn. The waiter led us to a table and handed us the menu. We only wanted to try their cakes but their menu did not have them. We just looked at what was display and ordered what we wanted.The waitress took our order and we waited for our orders to arrive. After a very long time our drink- Stir It Up($6.90), finally arrive. Chocolate-milkey drink topped with whipped cream and maraschino cherry. Apparently this is one of their signature dish. I didn't llike the taste at all. It wasn't really chocolatey, more of a weird milky, minty, mild taste of cocoa kind of drink. The only nice about the drink is the oreo and cherry. Even the table next to us who ordered the drink did not like it. Next came the Scarlett Red Velvet Cake($8.90). The cake was quite dense and tasted a little like chocolate. The frosting was cream cheese. I think it's quite nice and it taste a lot better than the crepe.Lastly came the Rainbow Mille Crepe Cake($8.90). I think the crepe tasted quite plain. There was not much cream in between each layer. Went to Burger King for some snack. They have some cheap items on their menu such as coke float($0.95) and 5 pcs nuggets($1.45) which I ordered.The coke float had two thirds of the cup filled with coke and the remainder with vanilla ice cream. It is not suitable for people who are very thirsty. It's a nice combination and worth the amount.The nuggets were nice. It came with barbeque sauce. Taste kind of like normal nuggets. I never tried their old version of nuggets so can't really compare. But nuggets all seems to taste the same to me. A good place to go if you want to hangout with your friends and have some snacks.…查看更多

Came here for lunch because I wanted to try their Vegetable Sushi.Looked at the menu and decided to order the today's special- Organic Angel Hair with Curry Pork Chops($7). It was quite tough for me to order as the person was speaking chinese. With my poor chinese I could not really read all the words. Luckily I had my friend ZQ who helped me order.The dish comes with free soup. The soup came quite fast. Less than 3 minutes after we ordered.The soup has a lot of ingredients inside-carrots, cabbage, sprouts etc.. You would expect a flavorful soup but to my disapointment it was not. It was kind of plain despite having a lot of ingredients boiled together. However my friend said it was comforting. My meal finally came. Quite fast as well. The pasta was overcooked. It was really soft like mee sua(chinese noodle). The curry tasted like those kind of curry you would dip with bread. The broccoli was cooked well. The pork chop was breaded and fried. It was the nicest thing in the dish, maybe because it's deep fried? I like that they included tomato in the dish because it helped give some acidity to the heavy sweet curry. So whenever I get overwhelmed by the curry I would eat the tomatoes to help refresh my palate.The highlight of the entire meal- Organic Vegetable Sushi Roll($4). A mixture of organic vegetables with some sweet sauce. It tasted like normal rice sushi. There was the vinegary taste(the nice kind) you would get when you eat normal sushi even though there was no sushi rice. Maybe it came from the sauce. Came to dine at Saveur. Entered in and it took quite some time before the waitress noticed us.Ordered Saveur's Pasta($4.90)- Capellini tossed with chilli oil, finely chopped Japanese konbu and sakura ebi with minced pork sauce. The capellini was cooked al-dente. Had a generous amount of sakura ebi. It felt a little like Aglio Olio except that it is not spicy but still it tasted yummy.Also had the Pork($10.90)- Pork belly served with creamy green lentils, soft boiled egg & natural jus. The lentils really had a creamy milky buttery taste. A little salt and maybe peppers were sprinkled on top of the egg. The soft boiled egg was nice. You could see the egg yolk flow when you poke it. The pork was quite tough to cut because of the skin. The skin wasn't the crispy kind you usually get. It was more of the chewy and hard kind which I quite like. Removing the skin, the meat was easier to cut. It was quite tender I think the whole dish works well together- Savoury(Pork Belly) and Sweet(Creamy Green Lentils). Came here with my friend to try their cupcakes.It's a small little shop decorated with cute items.They sell cupcakes, cake in a jar and cake lollies. For cupcake there were 2 types- premium($4.50) and regular($4). The ones displayed at the top is the premium flavors while the ones at the middle are the regular flavors. Asked the person which she would recommend and she said that most people like the Rockin Red Velvet, Saucy Salted Caramel and Cookies & Cream.So I ordered the Saucy Salted Caramel since I have developed a love for salted caramel. The cake was moist and soft. Frosting was sweet but not overly sweet. Caramel did not have a strong caramel taste. Wished they added more of the caramel. The pretzel on top was salted. Overall what I love most was the soft moist cake followed by the caramel sauce, the frosting and lastly the pretzel. The appearance also looks nice. Came here for dinner because of the promotion- 1 for 1 pasta.I like the design and color of the shop.  I ordered Death by Iced Chocolate($6). The name of the drinks sounds interesting. Chocolate at the bottom, followed by milk and a scoop of vanilla icecream. I think it taste nicer than the one at to-gather cafe. The one here is more chocolatey and has a scoop of ice cream! The hard part was trying to stir so that the chocolate and milk were mixed together.Since my friend did not order any drink or appetizer, she felt that she waited for the food for quite some time. On the other hand I was fine as I was entertained with my Iced Chocolate.My pasta finally came- Angelhair tossed in Cream, served with Smoked Salmon, Caviar and garnished with parsley($16.50).The parsley block the view of the caviar. You could taste the salmon from the sauce. The angelhair was plain even with the sauce. However the salmon was salty so eating it together with the pasta helped. Loving Hut serves food that are suitable for vegan.When we entered the place we were greeted with a warm smile and greeting. There are both indoor and outdoor seatings available. Ours was indoor.There are many plants around in the shop, not sure if they are real though.  There is also a tv but it is not place in a good location so only a few people can watch it.We went on a monday and there was a promotion- 20% off mains. Prices of the food are okay but the drinks are a little pricey. Ordered the Aglio Olio($11.10), it comes with a slice of garlic bread. The bread was quite hard with buttery taste from the garlic spread. The pasta was cooked al-dente and not that spicy. There were mushrooms and chives in the pasta. The chives helped add some bite to the whole dish while the mushroom helped boost the flavor of the dish. Service in the begining was excellent however at the end when we wanted to get our bill it was quite difficult to get his attention as there were a lot customers and only one main service guy.Overall loving hut is a nice place to dine and they offer a large variety of food. …查看更多

At this cafe there are 2 sections- pet and non-pet.We sat at the non-pet section and got the 1-for-1 Set Lunch which consist of 2 soups of the day, 2 Main Courses (each $16 or below) and 2 Drinks. From opening till 3pm at $25+You can request to have your drink before or after the meal. I ordered Iced Lemon Tea and somehow it tasted like peach tea. The honey lemon was nice, the honey had a nice sweetness and lemon was mild.The soup of the day was cream of asparagus. It did not really taste like asparagus. But still it tasted quite nice.Order the dory which consist of truffle fries, wasabi mayo and a fillet of fried dory. The truffle fries was nice, could taste the truffle oil. The wasabi mayo was interesting. Tasted exactly like wasabi and mayo mixed together. It goes nicely with the fries. Help add some creaminess to the fries. Fish was normal. Batter was crispy. Coeslaw was refershing. Instead of mayo dressing I think they used vinegar. Overall I really like it.My friend ordered Cabonara- Tagliatelle, bacon, portobello mushroom and arugula. After lunch, came to Tom's Palette for dessert. There are many variety of ice cream offered here. Some of the flavors change and you might not find it in your next visit. But you will always find the popular flavors available such asGranny's Favourite. Ordered Stout Caramel and Blueberry Cheesecake. For the Stout Caramel, the taste of the beer was quite strong. It was like 80% stout and 20% caramel taste. The Blueberry Cheesecake really tasted like cheesecake. More cheesecake-like than Baskin Robbins. Somehow the two flavors really go well together. Went to eat at oBlong. We found a table and walked to the counter to order our food. They have quite a variety of ice cream such as early grey lavender, banana with nutella etc..I ordered the Red Velvet Waffle Combo which include red velvet waffles, icecream and a drink($10). After payment, was given this as a 'receipt' as they say it.Drink is a carbonated drink. Something I picked but forgotten the name.Waffle came. The sauce I chose was butterscotch sauce. Had a buttery taste. Spooky Dark Chcolate was quite nice, tasted like chocolate. Waffles was a little burnt and you could taste it. Texture of the waffles were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The cream cheese sauce was warm, maybe because of the heat from the waffle. Overall it was average and it gets quite sweet at the end maybe becauce of the cream cheese. The toilet was quite nice, my friend commented that it was like what you would see in a condo.
