As usual the queue is scary during dinner time and I have to wait for about 30minutes before there's a seat available. I ordered the tonkutsu don which comes with a portion of rice enough for one person, fried pork cutlet top up with this sweet sauce with onions and egg. I was at Red Mango and had the berry flavored yogurt top up with muesli. the texture of the yoghurt is surprisingly thick and creamy, one of the better ones I had from other yogurt place. feels like I am eating ice cream but it is actually something healthier. the berry flavor is nice with a strong taste of berries and it ia not too sweet. the muesli given is generous and fresh too and give this healthy dessert an extra crunchiness. …查看更多

I had the super stacked cake and their signature "hei" chocolate ice cream for dessert. i have always love their dark chocolate ice cream because of how smooth the texture is and most importantly, it is not sweet. the super stacked cake is also one of my favorite and is sold by per gram. it is thick and heavy and u tends to enjoy it for the first few bites but struggle to finish it due to its heaviness in chocolate. good to share among two people though so u can order more stuff from there. the cupcakes sold there is not bad too. …查看更多

A treat for my birthday from the family. We went up hill to mount faber black opal as we wanted something really classy and quiet. The ambiance is really awesome and since its a weekday evening the restaurant is not a 100% fill up rate. my main for the night is the shrimp spaghetti, which the pasta is tossed with this special shrimp oil and a handful of fresh shrimp on the top. So I heard about the chicken wings challenged and wanted to challenge it. but after hearing how comfortable the spiciness in the chicken wings will make u feel, I decided to drop off the idea of challenging the level 30 as I didn't want to spend money to make my stomach and mouth on firm so instead of level 30, I ordered a mild level 3 which is good enough for me to really taste the meat on the wings. well I guess this place is only fun when on and off there's people coming in to challenge the spiciness of the wings and not really into taste. the chicken wings tasted pretty normal though. By far the best Nasi Padang I've tried. a treat from my friend to this small coffeeshop tuck just right beside the main road. We had their signature fried chicken, beef rendang, curry veggjes. one of the star is definitely their sambal chili. it is damb good! spicy and sour yet very light. the chicken is marinated well and the beef rendang is very tender. the queue is crazily long during lunch hour and the coffee shop is packed with majority of their diners! …查看更多

My first time visiting DOME and it seems that this place is a popular spot to held for meetings since above the cafe are all the offices. I ordered the Lychee Freeze and oh man, this is the best lychee freeze I ever tried before! The freeze is not too sweet yet infused with the strong lychee fragrant. it is also well blended and texture is smooth. the drink is top up with this creamy white foam which enhanced the taste of it. This branch at Bugis is always long queue and sometime the queue can be all the way to the atm machines beside the shop. I ordered the bento b, which comes with 2 sticks of chicken, 1 chicken with capsicum and 1 chicken meat ball. I like their chicken stick as the meat is very nicely marinated by machine and hand grilled by the people. I used to not like the chicken meatball but now I love it for the taste and texture. I decided to try something new from the menu apart from my usual seafood aglio olio, I ordered the wafu beef spaghetti, a little more Japanese style kind of spaghetti. was quite disappointed with the presentation of the dish cos the beef look dry and tough which indeed it does taste like how it looks. the sauce is a little watery but tasted alright still. the spaghetti is a little overcooked too. I was craving for pizza and decided to try out domino pizza as I have heard about the good pizza they have. just nice there's one outlet opposite where I was and its a 5-10minutes short walk. theres a promotion of 2 regular pizza for $22, I ordered a classic hawaiian and a meatasaurus (+$4). u get to choose the crust of your pizza, so I chose the classic dough for the hawaiian and a new york crust for the meatasaurus. we also ordered a 6pcs drumlets which taste like the one pizza hut has. anyway the order was done within 15 mins as guaranteed and it was hot when I reached home. the pizza tasted good and my favorite is the meatasaurus with all sorts of meat toppings and their house special smoked BBQ sauce!…查看更多

Well I think the standard dropped quite a lot compared to the last time I had at Raeburn park (had closed down since). I tried quite a bit of their flavor and it's either bland, not milky enough and etc. Finally I decided to have their rum and raisin and salted caramel which seems to be the most promising one for me. I had it together with the traditional english butter cake which I think is nice and soft. The down side of it is that the ice cream scoop is too small and it melted fast. qi ji nasi lemak is my number one choice if I am feeling to have some coconut rice and chicken wings for dinner or lunch. there are about six choices of the nasi lemak set meal to choose from and my choice will always be set 3, which comes with chicken wing, egg, otak otak and peanuts/ikan bilis. I like the chicken wing as it is juicy and well marinated. the rice is always very fragrant with coconut milk. you can change ur egg to omelette or sunny side up at no extra cost. the shop here in tiong bahru plaza is quite small and packed so I will always order a takeaway home. …查看更多

Swensen's is currently having a after lunch happy hour from 2.30pm to 5pm for students. I get to choose almost every main in the menu except for the expensive and I get a free ice lemon tea for just $10.80. thats a steal so I decided to visit them for lunch and ordered the mega burger. the presentation is nice but I feel that their beef petty had shrunk. the taste is alright and the burger is huge (thats why the mega word) so if u are looking for something to fill you up, u can try this though. the restaurant is almost empty when I went in at 3pm so basically you get all the attention from the servers. …查看更多

Other than the famous meatballs sold at Ikea restaurant, there are also some gourmet menu up which is being refreshed every now and then. so I chose to ordered the roasted chicken leg with barbecue sauce over their baked salmon as I wanted something more filling. the dish comes with a huge chicken leg, some fries and frozen veggies. I like the barbecue sauce as it brings flavor to the chicken leg with its sweetness. the fries is those normal supermarket packet curly fries thus nothing to rave about. would suggest the restaurant to buy in hand cut thick fries to replace it to make it more like a authentic western dish. the restaurant gets crowded and fill up fast with its crazy long queue for hungry diners during peak hours so I will tend to avoid that period of time. …查看更多

I wanted something like for dinner so I decided to visit this lao huo tang shop for some Chinese double boiled soup. when I reached there's only a few selection left so I ordered the lotus root pork ribs soup. also added a plate of cabbage and change my white rice to olive rice, which the auntie said they are the rare places which offer the olive rice. anyway, the soup tasted ok but I guess I am the left few customers so the pork ribs given are those soft bone kind which I don't like. The soup is lukewarm too. the cabbage is bland and cold, definitely not to my liking. the only thing I like is the olive rice which has a strong flavor of olives and I feel healthy eating it. …查看更多
