Because of the claim "Hong Kong", I purposely took the train and visited this restaurant. I've been seeking for a real HK cafe for a long time.Well, I'd say "milk tea" is one of the most representative drinks which any restaurant claims to be from HK. And here, HK milk tea is priced double that of "teh xi". That would always be the first one to try. You know what? There's really really no difference from a normal "teh-c" I could easily find in any hawker center. I was curious to ask the manager(?) about how to differentiate and justify the price difference. But I was not given any sensible answer. I was given an embarrassing smile at last...干炒牛肉河粉 is another must try in HK restaurant, so I did. And you know what again?It was the famous Singapore fired kuay tiao you can find in any hawker center. And it costs more than double the price here.My comment to Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe - when you claim as HK restaurant, be seriously committed to include HK ingredients, pls.
