This is the first dish i tried, the Bak Kut Teh (BKT) is the pepper type and full of OMMMNice and hotThe 2nd dish is also another porridge. It is make from the same stock so also hot, if the meat is slightly softer it would be perfectThe flower tea is nice and refreshing, the longer you let it simmer the nicer it taste, Have to be taken hotThe next dish to be is the nicest, the pork ribs soup, you can ask for the soup to be top up, it is not as hot as the porridge, i find the hottness just rightThe braised platter is not bad, but it is also pretty standardThe Yong Tau Foo, is a nice side dish if you have a group of people eatting togetherPig organ soup is sweeter then the pork ribs becuase of the organs, nice dish for people who love organThe BKT chicken cube is quite special but it taste more like Kong Bau then BKTThe last dish the veg, it has a very nice Chinese name (the 4 Heavenly King), the English name needs to be changed.Note: If you can select the hotness it would be nice and because you are eating soup based item, outdoor sitting can become very sweaty…查看更多

i just when for a food tasting with open snap at Criollo Cocoa Café.The price is pretty reasonable for a cafe in orchard and they are high and low points in the tasting session which i will share in awhileWe tried a few dishes and a few surprise item a) Big Breakfast (Promo: $12, U.P.:$16.90) 2 scrambled eggs, served with chicken sausage, sautéed mushrooms, bacon (Pork or Turkey), hash brown, toast and fresh fruits in sweet yoghurt. The yoghurt is quite nice but the rest of the item is pretty normal, For $12 it is ok but $16.90 i don't think it's worth it and the portion is not really Big for a Big breakfastb) Portobello Burger ($12.90) Grilled Portobello mushroom with onions and capsicum, tasty cheese, lettuce and sliced tomato on toasted brioche bun, served with fries this is nice and juicy, if you come here you must try this. Must eat so i don't need to say morec) Seafood Laksa Pasta ($16.90) Pan fried spaghetti with prawns and squid rings in special laksa sauce Quite spicy and nice if you like spicy food you should try thisd) Mixed Grilled Platter ($18.90) Grilled chicken and beef on skewers, black pepper chicken sausages, served with fries and coleslaw All i can say, is forget about this dish, it was a super big disappointmente) Chocolate Waffle ($9.90) Cocoa flavored waffle topped with chocolate ice cream, marshmallow and dark chocolate sauce (with Maple Syrup on the side)Yum yum, super nice and totally worth the moneyWe also tried some special item like their cakes and ice-creamCakes are huge and worth the price and their tea cakes are nicer then the mud cake. If you can only have one cake have their tea cakesIce cream are the best, it is make fresh in house.I would recommend this place for their tea cakes and ice cream with waffles, For main course just go for the Portobello BurgerThis tasting session in a way is strange because everyone was quite disappointed until the ice cream comes. They need to let people know what is their strong point.Just come for ice cream is what i will tell my friends, as for rating for ice cream it will get 5 stars for main course maybe ok or cry only. This is the first time i visited the place, it is not hard to find and the restaurant is quite cozy. I'm not good with woods so i included lots of pic, a picture say a thousand word so enjoy the picture  This toufu is very silky, the taste is great, if you want something healthy, this is for you.This salad is refreshing and full of stuff good for the skin, yum yumThe fish is super fresh , yum yumThe chicken wing, out of all the dishes, this dish was a bit disappointing becuase i find the meat a bit too dry. if it more tender it would be perfectShabu Shabu my favourite item for the night, it's full of collogen and it taste so nice, This item is designed for 2-3 pax but to me i can finish everything on my ownAnother fish, this time it's the Mackerel, this fish is also super fresh, you almost taste the sea on it due to it's freshnessThe last item is the mochi, the brown sauce is just nice not too sweet, the perfect item to end the dinner…查看更多
