Singapore standard, all pineapple rice will have a topping of either pork or chicken floss on top of the dish but for this case was the chicken floss a replacement for chicken meat in the rice? Too much oil was used to cook the pineapple rice and as I ate the rice I discovered oil coming out of the plate.

There were minimal pineapple chunks in the rice. The pineapple cubes were missing or were they short of pineapple cubes on that day? Also priced at S$12.90.

I should have gone to the food court and ordered a plate of pineapple rice at S$5.00.

The seasoning for the kway teow was well done. There were two pieces of miserable chicken meat in the take way box even though the main ingredient for this kway teow dish was supposed to be chicken. They were a good combination of vegetables such as kai-lan, cauliflower, sliced carrots and baby corn.Judging from the photo I would call this dish as "Stir Fried Kway Teow with Mixed Vegetables" and not "Stir Fried Kway Teow with Chicken".Priced at S$12.90 is way too expensive.

We were recommended by the serving staff that the Stir Fried Beancurd with Hot Basil Leaf is one of their signature dish.I find this dish disappointing because I was told that the beancurd are deep fried till crispy. Goes well with a bowl of rice.

Priced at S$9.90.

From the rice platter menu, I chose Thai Fried Rice with option for prawn, crab or chicken. I picked the crab to go along with the rice.I was astonished when I saw the plate served with cold frozen crab meat topping. I could taste the coolness and blandness of the crab meat. If the crab meat was stir fried it would taste slightly better. The thawing process will leave a lot of lost crab juice. Seasoning should be added to dried crab meat before serving.Shredded strips of carrot and egg omelette

Shredded strips of carrot and egg omelette was added to the rice. The texture of the fried rice is okay but a bit oily. I expected fresh crabmeat to be served with the fried rice. The frozen crabmeat spoiled my appetite. This plate cost S$12.90 and supposed to be one of their signature dishes.

Thai Iced Milk Tea

Looks like gourmet tea, tastes like one too. The tea is brewed to intense fragrance, enhanced with milk, with sugar solution served on the side. For me, this is the best way to serve up a drink - allowing diners to customize the sweetness to their liking.

Tom Yam Soup (Seafood)

A thai meal is not complete without tom yam soup! Served with a generous amount of seafood in a hotpot, we had to scoop all the ingredients out of the way before the soup was accessible. Spicy and sour, this is bound to wake your appetite.

Green Curry (Chicken)

Another essential dish in the thai menu, this is thick and rich. Its freshness and slight spiciness balances out with the coconut aroma, giving this curry a perfect finish.

Thai Fish Maw Salad

An inventive twist to the Chinese way of cooking, fish maw has now made its way to be the star ingredient of this salad. This makes the crispiest and best tasting salad ever!

Thai Red Ruby

Mountain of iced goodness, this is one of the most popular dessert on thai menus. I love it best when the little red ruby pearls surprise me by revealing chunky pieces of chestnuts within, to give this dessert a crunchy texture. The coconut fragrance gives you the sweetest and freshest icy conclusion to a good meal. Even-better part: the big cherry topping on desserts never fail to make my day!

The Ambience: The restaurant has a simple yet delightful ambience. They do not over-package themselves as they make one feel like their right at home. This place is perfect for couples are on a date, best friends, families and even gatherings for a group of friends who want to catch up. Very cosy! and a tad cold due to the air con! However, with smoking hot food, who's complaining?

Their service: They gave me no reason to disappoint. Attentive staff welcomed us into the restaurant and even let us pick our own corner seat preferences. The staff also showed me which items on the menu could be made vegetarian for me (and boy, his recommendations were good!). He then checked with me on onion/garlic preferences before going ahead with our orders. I was really impressed that the food tasted so good as from my experience, food could taste pretty blunt when alterations are made. The food took about 15mins to get to us but it was well worth the wait

I liked this beverage which consisted of lychee and I found the star stirrer very charming! Really cute! It was not overly sweet like most beverages 8/10

The white rice was fragrant and the rice grains did not stick together. However, it did not really stand out and is comparable to most eateries 8/10

Yummy, Who says greens cant taste good? This assorted vegetable dish is the perfect pick-me-up. Both yummy and crunchy, I never enjoyed vegetables so much. It has a good variety of mushrooms, cauliflowers, carrots, cabbage and leafy greens for that perfect balance. It is a known fact that 5 veggies in a dish makes it nutritious! However, price was pretty steep at 8++, not sure if I would order it again though! 7/10

This has got to be my fav dish! Braised tofu with basil. I have no idea how they made this dish but it's truly incredible. The tofu was fried to perfection and retained their crispiness. The basil gave the dish a nice aroma and with red bird's eye chilli's came the spiciness. The dish was not salty at all and I could not stop slurping down the gravy which was heavenly! This dish is highly recommended and well worth paying for! 10/10
