Signature Dishes
We were in the area running some errands at simlim and decided to check out Alps Café. This place has a nice relaxed and chill bar ambient. We ordered Fish and Chips, Chicken Chop and Clam Chowder. Orders came up shortly, so the service was pretty fast. Slurping on creamy and thick clam chowder soup was a great entrée together with the battered fish which was crispy on the outside soft on the inside. It even crunches when I start cutting a piece with knife , causing me to suddenly jerk once I’m past the crunch barrier because the meat inside was so tender.The chicken was very flavourful and juicy as the fries underneath soaks up the sauce , saving me the trouble of dipping. Don’t take too long otherwise it’ll start to turn soggy due to the vapor.

love to sing kbox? be it english or chinese song? alps cafe lets u do this for free. u must first order their food first then u are allowed to sing. the food is really good! the jap curry chicken cutlet rice is really yummy! the curry is think and rich in flavour, the chicken cutlet pieces are huge. they are really crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside! the chicken chop is really good too. the chicken is huge and grilled till very tasty! they are very generous with their gravy too. the chicken is very juicy and tender. what's more, u can belt out ur favourite numbers to our hearts contents! they reserved an area where they soundproof for singing. the outside part is where u can watch ur fav soccer teams play against their arch rivals to win the different league cups!alcohol at certain timings are sold at cheaper rates as well. a nice cosy place to hang out with friends and chill the night away.
