this is Signature Raisin Cream Cheese bread from barcook bakery. this is my family all time favourite! it is $1.30 for each and I think it's very worth well. it is the best seller that made barcook factory so famous! I love the irresistible cottony-soft and flat bread filled with silky cream cheese! the raisins were juicy and gives the bread a full bodied flavor and wonderful aroma! Love to it so much, i couldn't bear to share my cream cheese bun with others!

If you have not come across any bread that is cottony soft and gives a full bodied flavour, hit any of the 3 Barcook Bakery outlets within the Central Business District (CBD) today and get wowed. At only $3.50, you can expect an unique texture of German Muesli Bread, which is generously filled with wholemeal, flexseeds, rolloats, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, raisins and walnuts yet soft in the inside. For a nutty-lover like me, every slice of the bread tastes deliciously and perfect to eat as its own.

Being an azuki bean fan, I also had a bite on their Red Bean Custard Bun and amazed by its special creation. This bun may look ordinary. However, the texture and lightly salted taste of the bun kicked my tastebud through a bed of red bean and custard. Albeit the red bean was rather sweet, this bun complemented well with any English Tea or Earl Gray Tea for a wonderful tea-break to those who have a sweet tooth.

Lastly, make sure you enter Barcook Bakery with an empty stomach as there is a host of breads and cakes for you to spoil for choices.

The cheese and raisin bread is another new found love of mines. Upon my first visit, I got one and eaten it fresh out of oven, the slightly warm texture contributed to the oomph factor. Another hot seller is the German Muesli Loaf. I am definitely going back for it and more cheese and raisin bread.

Highly recommended.

Barcook Bakery launched two log cake flavours during this festive season - Mango and Chocolate. Both log cakes go perfect with hot/iced tea, milo or coffee.Chocolate log cake: Velvety smooth chocolate wraps round the cake, making sure that I get to taste the chocolate with every bite. I wish there were chocolate chunks within the cake. That would make this log cake stand out from others.Mango log cake: I prefer this flavour over the chocolate one, as it tastes refreshingly sweet with mango cubes

Mango log cake: I prefer this flavour over the chocolate one, as it tastes refreshingly sweet with mango cubes within the cake! The sweetness is not too overpowering and it makes me feel that eating this cake is healthy.

Both cakes are studded with unfresh strawberries (the mango cake has more strawberries) and decorated with Christmas ornaments. I washed the Christmas ornaments for keepsake.

This bun is mind-blowingly delicious. Molten cream cheese oozing out of pillowy soft and fluffy bread complete with juicy raisins for a sweet contrast mmm.... No wonder long queues form in front of Barcook Bakery everyday to get their hands on these coveted babies during lunch hours. Don't bother ordering just one or two, you'll have to wait patiently to get your order served anyway. You'll certainly be left wishing you had more after sinking your teeth into these! And you won't regret it. At $1.

And you won't regret it. At $1.30 each, this is one indulgence that doesn't cost your wallet a bomb. Eat them fresh out of the oven to enjoy the most out of this gastronomic experience, when the bun is still as soft and as plump as a pillow and the cheese, delectably oozy and scorching hot.

I've also tried the Maxi Cheese Bun and the Coffee Cheese Bun which were however, more ordinary.

The German Muesli Loaf ($2 for half a loaf), another hot favorite, comes packed with loads of seeds. Oops, I mean flaxseeds, pumpkin seeds, and sunflower seeds. There're raisins and walnuts too. Soft and tasty! While this can't beat my favorite raisin cream cheese bun, it's worth a try. Greedy me scarfed down several slices of these down after finishing two raisin cheese buns!
