just got my weekly fix of the delicious raisin cream cheese buns! for barcook virgins, I seriously recommend lurking around the area and coming back when a new batch arrives (it may seem like quite a wait, but really, even the freshly made buns usually get wiped out in 30 minutes, tops. much less the ones out in the open). nothing comes close to feeling the HOT (let this be my warning to you) and rich cream cheese oozing from the bun once you take a bite - it's the perfect combination of sweet a

And again i bought Barcook Bakery bread because their bread is awesome therefore here i am with Hotdog bun as their normal range of bread. And it is piping hot from the oven as the lady took from the cooled down tray and bring it over to the frontage tray for display. And this is how it being package up, one plastic for one bread, for hygiene purposes, not to mix the flavour together. Yummy!

This walnut butter cake is my sister's favourite item from this bakery shop. THe walnuts in it are quite generous and they are very fresh and crunchy. The butter used in the sponge cake is also really fragrant and the texture of the cake is very soft and moist as well. At less than two dollars per piece, I think it is priced reasonably and the portion served is quite alright as well.

The blueberry bun is irresistible cottony-soft with blueberry jam around the bun. It is not very sweet so it is acceptable to me as i'm not a really a sugar intaker. It is cheap at the price abour $1+ and it can be a snack after lunch or anything, it goes well with tea or coffee. It is hygenic too because they pack one bun in one plastic bag and not mixed them all together.

It is garlic bread and actually the appearance attracted me to buy it as it was displayed at the frontage of the shop. It look so fluffy and big with the sesame seeds plus abit of crust look on the bread! Wow. Tempted and bought it at $1.60! But it is definately worth the money because it is yummy and tasty. Even you are a sesame lover, you may love it because of the generous spread! (:

This is healthy bread which contains flexseed and some other healthy nuts. It costs about $3+ and this is easily matched with diary milk, tea or so on for breakfast! The bread is really soft and i like the fillings of the bread inside because is nutty and yet you will not feel sinful eating it. I can't stop eating it because it is really nice and yummy without adding any butter or ham..

BBQ Bun!It is more of savory taste and on the inside, you can taste the very small pieces of square shape pork bits. And the spongy of the bread! There is also a little bit of herbs on the top for extra flavour to the overall tasteIf you like to eat pork or bagua type, you can try this ! (:

Barcook raisin cream cheese bread is a Must try!The bread is soft, sweet with smooth creamy cheesy filling. Remember to eat it while hot so that your mouth can be filled with the warm creamy filling when you take a bite.Quite different if you left it overnight and eat it on another day as breakfast. I wouldn't say Barcook has a huge variety of bread (the popular ones tend to sell out fast anyway), but the ones they make are unique and are different (until another bakery copies them that is). I recently got their Chocolate Banana bread, which is perhaps half a slice of banana, wrapped with thick chocolate paste, encased in a nice fluffy bread. If you are lucky, they might have taken their breads fresh from the oven and you can buy it while it's still warm and delicious =)

My friends & I were about to have dinner at a near by restaurant in clark quay to surprise one of my other friends with a birthday dinner. We then stumbled upon Barcook Bakery. The bakery did not look very fancy but as the saying goes, do not judge a book by its cover. We ordered the strawberry cake off the shelf as it looked the most appealing and had a heart shaped design.We were pretty amazed at how good the cake tasted. The strawberry frosting on top was not too sweet while the cake was soft

Tried their famous cheese raisin bread and I must say I understand what the hype was all about. Cheesy fillings and I mean CHEESY; on really soft bread, every sinking tooth feels good. The raisins add on a sweet flavour to the very all round creamy bread. Healthy alternative for sweet tooths.

This is Japanese Red Bean bun from Barcook bakery which cost me $1.40.I don't really like this. The red bean filling is smash with milk. It taste like milk and quite sweet. Can't really taste the red bean. I like the red bean to be slightly solid so i can bite with some texture. But this red bean has been mashed to paste. I don't think i will try it again.

Barcook Bakery sells a wide variety of very unique tasting bread. One of my all time favourites is the Raisin Cream Cheese bread! It is cheesy and very soft while the raisins add a tinge of ‘chewyness’ to the bread. Very very addictive! I ate like two at one go. Haha. Their matcha bread is good too! strong taste of green tea

This is their new product -- banana cake. I like to eat banana cake so I decided to give it a try. Very soft yet solid texture with banana aroma.. Not very oily.. Comes in 3 pieces per packet and cost $3 for their high quality cake which I find it quite worth it. Only problem is always have to queue.. Non stop queuing..

I went to the outlet located in Central and had a tough time finding it. It’s located in the exterior walls of Central and facing Clarke Quay diagonally. It’s a small shop but one can smell the freshly baked bread from far. Follow your sense of smell rather than eye to locate this small gem.
