My friend introduced this bakery to me as there were lots of bread variety. I chose the durian bread as I am personally a fan of durians. The durian flesh was fresh and they did not use artificial durian paste. Another bakery thats selling durian bread is 'JuzBread'. Still, I think this is quite a good buy. All the buns in this bakery are going at 3 for $2.50. Yup, that includes my durian bread. continue reading

The smell of freshly cooked waffles is always very aromatic. Therefore, I couldn't resist buying one of these waffles upon passing by this bakery. I choose to have a plain waffle since I wanted to taste the waffle in its entirety instead of its taste being masked by the spreads. The batter is actually quite watery when I saw the auntie pouring it into the waffle maker, but surprisingly the waffle turns out to be quite thick and slightly chewy. It is also not too sweet - hence it is just how I liked it to be. continue reading

One weekend morning, I decided to pop by this bakery to try their bread. Got a chicken pie bun to try and it tasted average. The fillings inside consists of some potatoes, peas, corns and a bit of chicken. I guess its a little different from the usual chicken pies since its shape was rather special-triangular. Also, there was a bit of melted cheese on top of the bread. The cashier auntie was polite and friendly as she made small chats with other customers. continue reading

there was nothing at home to eat for breakfast so i went down to this bakery and bought the kaya bun. Very neat and clean stall (the way they arrange the bread) and they are selling waffle too (aromatic smell), The kaya bun is quite standard size, 6 small bun merge into one. The kaya bun was very neat (neat as in equal sizing and the kaya inside the bun did not overflow out), the taste was sweet and the kaya amount was decent, and the bun was not overbaked.overall: good to eat when you are hungry at home continue reading
